Bio
Taryn is a director at Armanino, working closely with clients to serve their tax needs. She reviews federal income tax provisions — including deferred tax calculations on both U.S. GAAP and statutory basis of accounting — as well as premium tax returns, federal and state income tax returns and other tax filings for insurance companies. She works with a number of clients in the heavily regulated insurance industry, performing tax services for property and casualty insurance carriers and captive insurance companies.
Taryn earned her B.A. and M.A. degrees in accountancy from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and is a licensed CPA. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA) and the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association (IASA). Prior to the merger with Armanino, she had been at Brown Smith Wallace since 2012.
