Mirena Taskova has over 15 years of wide-ranging privacy & cybersecurity experience and has profound insights into the latest worldwide privacy & cybersecurity developments. Her clients include Fortune 500 businesses in the high-tech electronics manufacturing industry, fintech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, oil and gas, as well as food/non-food retail industry. Mirena’s work includes advising diverse businesses on various complex privacy & cybersecurity matters. For example, Ms. Taskova has advised multinational clients on numerous GDPR privacy related issues, global customer-facing and staff-facing multifaceted privacy & cybersecurity strategies, the launch of new online services and products, privacy compliance for existing products & services, global privacy programs, transatlantic personal data transfers, personal data breach response, data subject access requests, Data Protection Officer strategy & engagements, launch of international HR databases, global privacy review of marketing practices (including cookies), privacy audits, etc.
Ms. Taskova has extensive international privacy experience – she has lived and has worked in the field of Privacy in the United States, as well as in various countries in Europe (e.g. UK, Austria, Bulgaria).
Mirena has a European Master degree in Law, as well as a Master of Laws (LLM) in Law, Science & Technology from the Stanford Law School in the United States. She also has a European Bachelor degree in Accounting & Control.
Mirena is a CIPP/E certified privacy expert by the IAPP [International Association of Privacy Professionals] and a certified DPO by the EIPA [European Institute of Public Administration].
