Posting Order Type is a new concept that allows for user-defined sales order types to be posted to different GL accounts, overriding the inventory item posting controls. Sample orders set the price to zero and can be limited to a quantity per line item as well as a total number of open sales orders, ensuring that a customer doesn’t buy large quantities of sellable items for free. This functionality within Microsoft Dynamics enhances posting control and accuracy for order types across your Microsoft Dynamics ERP environment.
