Bio
Scott started his career in public accounting in 2001 and has had the opportunity to work on both sides of accounting in both public and industry before joining Armanino in September 2021. He currently focuses on providing audit services to and working extensively with nonprofit organizations, including those who are required to comply with the Uniform Grant Guidance. Scott also assists the firm’s Technical Accounting Group for technical accounting and reporting subject matter expertise, thought leadership, and guidance. He is also a member of the firm’s Engagement Quality Management Team, the go-to focus group for net new policies and templates targeted for firmwide release as well as reviewing firm practices for efficiency improvement opportunities. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
When Scott isn’t serving clients and mentoring other professionals, you can find him teaching his three daughters the fun of playing sports like volleyball, basketball, and baseball, as well as tabletop games. He has also played in the Greater Seattle CPA (GSCPA) Softball League since he started his career in public accounting.
