Letter from Armanino's CEO on COVID-19

by Matt Armanino
March 18, 2020

As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, I want to share with you what Armanino is doing to ensure business continuity and the safety of our employees, clients and communities. Our top priorities continue to be the well-being of our people, providing uninterrupted service to our clients as their trusted advisor, and doing our part to help prevent further spread of the virus.

We are assessing the crisis as it evolves and adjusting our operations to maintain continuity and to support the safety and health of those impacted, in accordance with guidance from government and public health authorities.

Remote Services

To protect everyone’s health, we have asked our staff to work remotely in accordance with state and local guidelines. We want to assure you that our work and your projects will not be disrupted. We have many employees who have been working remotely for years, and we have built our processes and systems around this capability. We utilize leading technology that makes it easy for us and our clients to collaborate electronically. Any one of your Armanino team can walk you through the simple steps needed to conduct business remotely.

Tax Season Is Upon Us

Regulation changes are occurring rapidly. We are monitoring them and will alert you of any changes. During the busy tax season, when many of you normally visit our offices, we have made it easy to interact with your client service team electronically using our wide range of alternate options. These options include web portals, which support sharing of information and electronic delivery of tax returns, Zoom for video conference calls, and electronic signature tools to collect authorizations as required by the IRS and local jurisdictions.

Onsite Work

We are currently serving most client needs remotely. However, if it’s still necessary for our staff to be on premises at your place of business, we’ve instructed them to act in accordance with your company guidelines and the relevant local, state and federal guidelines.

Armanino Offices

Our offices are closed in accordance with local and state ordinances. Following general safety guidelines, we are encouraging clients to utilize Zoom or conference calling for meetings with their Armanino team.

Updates and Resources

We will continue to closely monitor the outbreak and take all necessary steps to protect our communities and support our people, clients and the vendors we work with. We will be providing ongoing news updates and resources to help you manage your changing needs and minimize the impact of COVID-19 on your business operations.

In these shifting and uncertain times, we are more committed than ever to serving as your trusted and valued partner and delivering the quality service you expect from Armanino, and we welcome any feedback you have. If you need help navigating the changing laws or deadlines, creating a strategic plan to move forward, addressing sudden staffing issues or meeting other challenges, we are ready and available.

Sincerely,

Matt Armanino
