SAN RAMON, CA (January 29, 2013) – ArmaninoLLP (www.amllp.com) – the 35th largest accounting and business consulting firm in the United States and a provider of an integrated set of audit, tax, consulting and technology solutions to a wide range of organizations operating both in the U.S. and globally – today announced it has strengthened its Customer Relationship Management (CRM) consulting practice by merging in Gradient Vision, a consulting services company specializing in Dynamics CRM and SharePoint technology solutions from Microsoft as well as solutions from other providers. Details of the transaction, which was completed earlier this month, are undisclosed.
Joining Armanino is Gradient Vision Founder Rajya Bhaiya, an industry thought leader and co-author of a popular series of books on Microsoft CRM entitled “Microsoft Dynamics CRM Unleashed” and “Microsoft Dynamics CRM Integration Unleashed.” Bhaiya is a recognized expert on collaboration, client portals, intranet/extranet networks, workflow and document management.
“Raj is a national leader in cloud-based applications and our clients will be able to leverage his knowledge to improve their sales, marketing and web-portal processes in a wide variety of industries,” says Scott Mangelson, Armanino’s CRM practice leader. “His depth of knowledge around Microsoft CRM, as well as SharePoint and Office 365, will enable our clients to increase productivity, reduce overhead and increase efficiencies in their own businesses.”
The transaction made sense because of close alignment between Armanino and Gradient Vision, says Tom Mescall, partner-in-charge of Armanino’s consulting practice. “Our client bases are very complimentary and Gradient Vision has resources and relationships that strengthen our own CRM practice.”
The addition of SharePoint expertise augments the Armanino product line, Mescall adds. “SharePoint is a great technology for businesses that have collaborative cultures,” he says. “It dramatically reduces or eliminates many cumbersome processes that inhibit productivity and extends collaboration between employees, supply chains and sales channels.”
Microsoft SharePoint is scalable and easily integrated into back and front end applications both at customer location and in the cloud, notes Mangelson. “Adding this solution to our suite of Microsoft products rounds out our Microsoft Dynamics (ERP and CRM) cloud offerings and allows us to offer manufacturing, sales and marketing organizations a great space to organize unstructured data and yet another way to do more with less in driving revenue growth.”
Mangelson notes that many of Gradient Vision’s customers, as well as business partners, will be integrated into the Armanino business model. The deal “broadens our footprint and delivers additional, highly competent resources to our CRM practice.”
