Q&A

Q. What was it that drew you to Armanino?

Armanino is a very forward-thinking firm, always looking for ways to improve, and, in doing so, make the most of the company’s talents. It offered an opportunity for me to tap into a team of driven professionals who are always looking to be the best.

Q. What is the toughest decision you have ever made?

Guiding my daughter to join the AmeriCorps program when she graduated from high school but wasn’t yet ready to go to college or join the workforce. As a parent, my job is to help my children find their own path. Today, she is a board registered dietician and feels happy with her life choices.

Q. Without naming names, tell us about your favorite client and why you enjoyed working with them.

My favorite client experience was with a distribution company started by the founder selling construction tools from the trunk of his car. The company grew from selling small tools to renting and distributing equipment and tools leased in large construction jobs. The client recently sold its business to a national distributor of construction supplies.

Q. Describe your work style.

I am the type of person who wakes up at the crack of dawn because I’m excited to help others. I like to give my team rope and freedom to do their jobs, always with clear deadlines, set expectations and the utmost respect for the client.

Q. What do you love most about your work?

The legacy I leave with the younger generation of accountants. We have many talented young people on our team. Helping them grow professionally and having an impact on their personal lives is very fulfilling.
