Meet Amy

Amy is a director in Armanino’s National State & Local Tax (SALT) practice and leads the firm’s Sales Tax Compliance team. With more than 15 years of sales tax experience, Amy provides a variety of consulting services, including state audit defense, “reverse audits”’ (looking for savings type adjustments), consultation, tax planning, nexus analysis, due diligence, compliance (preparation and review) and overall sales tax minimization strategies. She brings strong project management skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Prior to joining Armanino, Amy was a principal with Brown Smith Wallace. Before that, Amy held various roles with the Missouri Department of Revenue,
where she led the St. Louis and Cape Girardeau field audit program offices for the State of Missouri. She also consulted on or directly led numerous litigation issues on behalf of the Department for sales tax matters. Amy’s deep knowledge of sales tax technical and policy issues, both from the State of Missouri and many other states as well, give her a unique perspective on tax planning matters.
